2 Thessalonians 3:5
"May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ."

How are you managing today? Sometimes I feel like this pandemic will never get behind us. First, we wait for a vaccine to be developed. Then we wait for the vaccine to be distributed. Then we wait for the shots to take effect. Waiting, waiting, and more waiting. Ours is the time to practice patience.
And we need to show more than just patience during this pandemic. As Paul points out in 2 Thessalonians 3:5, Christians also need a full understanding and expression of God's love. In other words, we need to reflect on how God has loved us and then we need to demonstrate his love towards others. One clever way to contemplate God's love is to create an acrostic from the word "love.' For each letter in the word LOVE, think of a quality that connects to God. For example, here's one possible acrostic.
Limitless
Ongoing
Virtuous
Encouraging
Give this little exercise a try and see if it helps you better reflect on God's love. It might even strengthen your endurance through the pandemic.
