Take a moment today to think of someone you know who is sick or struggling with a medical problem. Talk to Jesus about this person, and ask him to heal this individual.
Remember that our prayers in and of themselves do not have power. They are not magical incantations which the universe must respond to. Instead, the power of healing is from God. We have the privilege of being able to ask the Lord to work a miracle, and by so doing he may grant our request.
Now reach out to the person you are thinking about and check in on them. Let them know that you care about them.
