I recently started a new website that will link to www.MyBibleDevotions.com.The website is entitled, Grief.Place and can be visited at this URL: www.grief.place.
Grief.Place provides helpful information and encouragement for individuals who are experiencing a traumatic or personally debilitating event.
While there are many occurrences that can create grief, such as a job loss or a divorce, the Grief.Place website focuses primarily on issues that highlight our physical mortality. Examples of such experiences include:
Loss of a loved one.
Significant injury.
Difficult medical diagnosis.
Physical victimization.
All of these things disrupt one's life plans and daily activities; and each one reminds us that our time on earth is limited. Most people who experience one of these events will often question whether God cares about them and they will wonder about the purpose of their pain.
If you or someone you know is experiencing this kind of grief, this may be a website worth exploring. I'm hoping to add new material to the website in the near future. And for now I plan to mirror the blog posts on the two sites. Let me know your thoughts on the website in the comments section below.
