Matthew 25:29

"To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away."

In Matthew chapter 25, Jesus explains that each of us is given talents which we are supposed to use to advance God's Kingdom. While some people may be given fewer talents than others, we are each to use whatever talents we have as best we can. To do nothing with the gifts God has given us is to bury a blessing, and that kind of behavior does not please the Lord.

Today, I want you to consider two talents God has given you. Write down each skill or ability on a separate Post-it Note. If you are having a hard time determining what your talents might be, ask for input from a family member or friend who knows you well. Now stick each of these Post-its in a place that you will see on a regular basis. You can not remove a Post-it Note until you are using the gift written on it in a productive way. Don't bury your treasure, put it to work for Jesus.
