Chapter Summary:
Hannah is not able to have any children and is mocked by her husband's second wife.
Hannah is distraught and prays to God for a baby boy.
The Lord answers Hannah's request and she decides to fulfill her vow and gives up her child.
Lesson:
This chapter suggests that there are at least five common reactions people experience when they go through difficult times. The best thing we can do is to listen and encourage those who are experiencing hardships.
